The Public Safety Committee works with the Baltimore City Police Dept. and Sheriff’s office, nearby neighborhood associations, and others to address safety concerns in our community. Our committee regularly shares Public Safety Updates and works to identify solutions for public safety that make our community safe for residents and guests.

The FHNA Architectural Review Committee (ARC) serves residents and businesses by helping them make improvements within CHAP design guidelines.

We help residents and businesses with CHAP approval. The ARC provides the neighborhood recommendation for projects. City CHAP commissioners factor this in neighborhood recommendation when making the final decision on a project.

Committees working to support a great K-12 education for all students enrolled in Federal Hill schools, and to make Federal Hill a great community for families with children.

Robert Baker Park

Corri Meeks

Robert Baker Park is a pocket park on the northern perimeter of Federal Hill. You can find the entrance on Light Street near the intersection with Key Highway. Volunteers participate in clean up days, and the neighborhood gets to enjoy the beauty of this green space.

Trees

Helen Holden

Tree plantings help add beauty, shade, and cleaner air to our neighborhood. Plantings are conducted in partnership with other organizations several times a year, and volunteers are always greatly appreciated!

Parking and Transportation

Mark Braun

Organizes the annual permit renewal process, answers questions regarding parking regulations, and maintains a line of communication between the Parking Authority and the neighborhood.

The Technology Committee supports the neighborhood through effective communication, tools for marketing and communications, and implementation of other beneficial technology.

Beautification & Greening

The Beautification Committee believes in making our neighborhood better day by day. We facilitate neighborhood cleanups and efforts to keep Federal Hill parks, streets, and sidewalks looking their best.

The mission of the Social Committee is to foster a cohesive community by organizing fun, interesting events for the entire community so neighbors can meet and socialize with each other and to recruit and retain Association members.
